FAQ
What is Munibee?
Munibee is an economy cooperation app. You manage your own economies (called hives) and can share selected parts with others, whether that's your household, a shared project, or a cost you split with friends.
What is a hive?
A hive is an economy you are part of. You can have a personal hive that is 100% private, and one or more hives that you share with others. Each hive is its own self-contained economy.
What is the difference between a personal and a shared hive?
A personal hive is seen only by you. A shared hive is seen only by the people who have been invited and accepted. In a shared hive, the members form one economic unit.
What is a project?
A project is a contained economy inside a hive. Think of a shared trip, a renovation, or a cost you split with someone. Projects in a personal hive are private by default, while projects in a shared hive are shared among the members of the hive.
What is the Wallet?
Your Wallet is your private space in Munibee. No one in your hives or projects has any visibility into it, no matter what you put there.
How do I invite someone?
You search for them by their phone number. If you have already interacted with each other on Munibee, or if you are contacts in each other's phones, they can also appear without a number search. In settings, you can choose not to be shown by name when someone searches for you.
Can anyone at Munibee see my financial data?
No. Nobody at Munibee can see your financial data. Your data is encrypted and only you have access to it. We use Open Banking technology which gives you full control over your data, and you can withdraw access at any time.
Do I need a lot of money to use Munibee?
No, it doesn't matter how much money you have. Munibee is a control tool, not a wealth app. It's about gaining overview and control of your finances, regardless of whether you manage a lot or a little. Munibee helps you understand what purpose your money goes towards.
