How Munibee works
Munibee is an economy cooperation app, and here are the concepts it's built upon.
Your private foundation
Privacy is at the heart of Munibee, and we take it seriously.
Your wallet is 100% private and can never be shared
You decide which transactions you want to share with hives and projects
The hives you are part of
A hive is a collection of transactions that make up one economy. You can have several, and choose between private or sharing them with others.
Personal hive
100% private to you. Everything you put in is seen only by you. You can create projects inside the personal hive, and they are private by default.
Shared hive
A hive you share with others. Everything inside a shared hive is seen by the members who have accepted the invitation. The members form one economic unit.
Shared spending, without sharing everything
A project is a contained economy inside a hive. Think of a vacation, a renovation, or a shared contribution.
Project in a personal hive
Private by default. You can choose to share the project with others when you create it, such as a trip you pay for together with friends. The invited people only see the transactions that belong to the project, not the rest of your hive.
Project in a shared hive
Shared among the members of the hive by default. You can also invite people from outside the hive into the project, and they only see the transactions that belong to that project.
No access beyond the project
People invited into a project never gain visibility into anyone else's hives, wallets, or other projects. Access is limited to the project itself.
How it works
Connect your banks
Transactions flow straight in via Open Banking. Place transactions in the economy where they belong.
Create hives and projects
Build your own economies. Private only for you, or shared with those you choose.
